I had my last pre-op appointment this afternoon with Dr. Hoehn. He reviewed my labwork and xray from last week; everything looks great. He asked me if I had any questions, which I don't. He asked me if I was ready, and I said "You have no idea".
His nurse also gave me some information on the blood thinner injections that I have to give myself for seven days after the surgery. She gave me a prescription but when I told her I was self pay, she gave me samples!! Hooray! The injections are very easy to do, especially if your mom is a nurse and is staying with you for a week after the surgery. :)
Then, I made a follow up appointment for a week after the surgery to have the incisions checked. Then, I was on my way back to work.
Is this really happening to me in two days? Wow.
